Bio

    Composer Bryan Anthony Percoco (b. 1985) received his Masters of Music from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in music composition. Since graduation, he has been invited to international and national festivals, schools and performances of his original compositions. His works have been performed by the Brno Philharmonic with conductor Mikel Toms for the "Orchestral Masters Vol. 4" CD release on Ablaze Records, and the Janacek Philharmonic in Ostrava Czech Republic. His string quartet composition "Summation-Vectors" was performed by Quartetto Indaco in Pavia, Italy, as part of the 2016 HighSCORE festival. He has also attended the Upbeat International Summer School in Milna, Croatia for composition and performance, and has had premieres and attended the SoundSCAPE festival in Maccagno, Italy. In 2016, he was a finalist in the Ernst Bacon Memorial Award for the Worldwide Performance of American Orchestra Music for his composition "Involutions of an Abyss".

    Percoco is an active music educator, having taught as a lecturer of Music at the Ohio State University-Newark. He also teaches private lessons in Columbus, Ohio to numerous pupils of piano, guitar and composition. He is an avid pianist and guitarist, having been invited to perform on the OSU "Great Performers Series" for a classical guitar performance, and has also given full piano recitals to audiences by invitation at the Toledo Museum of Art.
